GOAL OF THE CONFERENCE

The 75-th anniversary of the nuclear industry in Russia: evaluation of the progress in the field of nuclear and radiation safety for the period of 2016-2020. TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE

1. Radiation Safety. Issues concerning radiation safety of the personnel and public in the course of nuclear facilities operation. Systems of radiation monitoring and radiation survey & dosimetry. Digital technologies. Scientific and technical issues with regard to emergency response. Methods and results of experimental studies in this field. Regulation.

2. Computer codes for justification of radiation protection and radiation safety. Theory and calculation methods. Computer codes, databases and experimental studies on calculation of ionizing radiation propagation in nuclear facility radiation protection (disregarding reactor physics problems). Theory and calculation methods. Computer codes, databases and experimental studies on calculation of radioactive substances propagation in nuclear facility and in the environment. Issues on certification of computer codes.

3. Safety of the final stages of the life cycle: management of spent nuclear fuel, radioactive wastes, safe preservation of the shutdown facilities and decommissioning thereof. Transportation, storage and recycling of SNF. Processing, storage and disposal of RAW. Digital technologies. Remediation of contaminated territories and radioecological aspects. Regulation.

4. Issues on radiation safety in nuclear medicine. Advanced techniques of nuclear medicine. Medical radiation treatment. Safety of nuclear medicine installations. Future considerations for nuclear medicine.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE

In order to take part in the Conference it is required to register on the Internet data portal before June 01, 2020 (http://фцп-ярб2030.рф/conf2020) or sent a request to the e-mail: conf2020@ibrae.ac.ru.

Package of documents to be submitted with the request:

1. Application form (download);
2. Report abstracts, 1 page maximum (download);
3. Soft copy of the permit for information share and publication of the report abstracts.

MATERIALS OF THE CONFERENCE

In frames of the Conference, the Collection of the Conference Reports' Abstracts will be published. As a result of the Conference, the Collected Papers of the Conference will be published. Texts of the reports for the Collected Papers of the Conference shall be submitted by the Conference participants in advance. Original permits for information share and publication of the report materials shall be provided by authors in the course of face-to-face registration at the Conference. In case of unavailable permits for information share, the materials will not be published.

ARRANGEMENT FEE

Participation in the Conference supposes payment of the arrangement fee, the size and payment procedure for which will be specified in the second information message. Students and graduate students, presenting a report for the Conference, will be exempted from payment of the arrangement fee.
